Purpose

The Fatigue course addresses the causes, physiological mechanisms, and operational consequences of fatigue in aviation and aeromedical environments. Learners develop an understanding of how fatigue affects cognitive function, decision-making, and safety, and are introduced to practical strategies for fatigue recognition, prevention, and management in order to maintain high levels of performance and patient safety.
