A. International Shipping & Returns Policy (Physical Products)
1. General
Flight Med Institute ships physical products worldwide, including books, manuals and educational material.
This policy governs all international purchases, shipments, customs obligations, returns and customer rights.
By completing an order, the customer fully accepts these terms.
2. Shipping Zones & Estimated Delivery Times
Zone 1 – Europe (EU, UK, Switzerland, Norway)
Delivery: 3–10 business days
Customs: Not applicable within the EU.
Zone 2 – North America (USA & Canada)
Delivery: 7–20 business days
Zone 3 – Latin America
Delivery: 15–40 business days
Zone 4 – Asia & Middle East
Delivery: 10–35 business days
Zone 5 – Australia & New Zealand
Delivery: 10–20 business days
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on:
- destination country
- product weight/volume
- shipment method
All shipments include a tracking number.
4. Customs Duties & Import Taxes
The customer is solely responsible for:
- customs duties
- import taxes (VAT/GST)
- customs brokerage fees
- customs inspection delays
These charges are not included in product prices.
5. Shipping Methods
Shipments are handled by:
- DHL Express
- FedEx
- UPS
- EMS / National Postal Services
All shipments are trackable.
6. Lost or Damaged Shipments
Lost shipment:
A free replacement will be sent or a full refund issued.
Damaged shipment:
A free replacement will be sent.
Customers must notify us within 7 days and provide photographic evidence.
7. Return Policy for Physical Products
7.1 EU & Germany — Widerrufsrecht (Right of Withdrawal)
Consumers have a 14-day withdrawal right, in accordance with:
- Directive 2011/83/EU
- Greek Consumer Law
- §355 BGB (Germany)
Products may be opened for inspection if returned in good condition.
7.2 Outside the EU
A 30-day return policy applies.
7.3 Return Conditions
Products must be:
- unused
- undamaged
- in original packaging
7.4 Return Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are paid by the customer (unless the error is ours).
7.5 Refund Processing
Refunds are issued within 7 business days after receipt and inspection.
8. Non-Returnable Items
- Personalized books
- Used or damaged items
- Items marked as “non-returnable”
9. Incorrect Shipping Address
Reshipping due to an incorrect address provided by the customer is charged to the customer.
No refunds for deliveries made to incorrect customer-provided addresses.

B. Digital Products Policy (E-Learning & Downloads)
1. General
Digital products include e-learning courses, videos, downloadable files (PDF, e-books), quizzes and digital certificates.
All digital products are delivered electronically and not physically shipped.
2. Delivery & Access
Upon purchase:
- the customer receives an activation email
- digital content becomes immediately accessible
- access duration is defined per course
Delivery is considered “performance of the contract.”
3. License & Usage Rights
Customers receive a personal, non-transferable license.
The following are prohibited:
- copying
- redistribution
- resale
- public display
- sharing login details
- using the content for commercial or educational re-distribution
All content is protected by copyright law.
4. Mandatory Withdrawal Waiver (EU & Germany Requirement)
In compliance with:
- Directive 2011/83/EU
- Greek Consumer Law
- §356(5) BGB (Germany)
The following consent must be accepted at checkout:

“By completing this purchase, I receive immediate access to the digital content (e-course / download).
I expressly consent to the execution of the contract before the 14-day withdrawal period expires.
I acknowledge that I lose my right of withdrawal once access to the digital content is provided, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU and applicable consumer law.”
5. Refund Policy for Digital Products
Refunds are NOT allowed once:
- access is activated
- any download begins
- course material is viewed
- a certificate is issued
Refunds are allowed ONLY when:
- no activation has occurred
- no download has occurred
- technical issues cannot be resolved within 7 days
6. Technical Support
Support is provided for:
- login/access issues
- lost credentials
- certificate re-issuance
- technical errors
7. Account Recovery
Accounts can be restored after identity verification.

Digital data processing complies with:
