8.6 Injuries Fractures

Purpose

The Injuries / Fractures course addresses the assessment and initial management of traumatic injuries and fractures. Learners gain an understanding of stabilization techniques, immobilization, pain control, and prevention of secondary injury, with emphasis on safe handling and transport in prehospital and aeromedical environments.
