Purpose

The Urological Problems course addresses the aeromedical transport of patients with acute or chronic urological conditions. Learners explore issues related to pain, urinary retention, catheter management, bleeding, and infection risk, with emphasis on how flight conditions may affect symptoms and device function. The module provides practical guidance to ensure patient comfort, safety, and continuity of care during aeromedical missions.
