5.13 Tooth Injuries

Purpose

The Tooth Injuries course focuses on the assessment and management of dental conditions and injuries during aeromedical transport. Learners gain an understanding of how cabin pressure changes and altitude may exacerbate dental pain or complications, and are introduced to practical measures for pain control, risk reduction, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the flight.
