Purpose

The Infectious Diseases course focuses on the safe aeromedical transport of patients with infectious conditions. Learners gain an understanding of transmission risks, infection control measures, and isolation principles, with emphasis on protecting the crew, other patients, and maintaining operational safety during aeromedical missions.
