Purpose

The Introduction to Trauma course provides a foundational understanding of trauma mechanisms and their clinical implications. Learners are introduced to basic trauma principles, initial assessment, and priorities of care, forming the basis for safe and effective management of injured patients in both prehospital and aeromedical settings.
