5.6 Othalmological diseases

Purpose

The Ophthalmological Diseases course focuses on the aeromedical considerations involved in transporting patients with eye disorders or recent ophthalmic procedures. Learners gain insight into how changes in cabin pressure, altitude, and environmental conditions may affect ocular health, enabling safe assessment, monitoring, and protection of patients during aeromedical missions.
