5.5 Neurological

Purpose

The Neurological course addresses the assessment and aeromedical management of patients with neurological conditions. Emphasis is placed on understanding how flight-related factors such as altitude, hypoxia, vibration, and stress may affect neurological status, and on applying appropriate precautions to ensure patient stability, safety, and optimal outcomes during aeromedical evacuation.
