🩺 Trauma Management Course

Purpose

The Trauma Management Course equips healthcare and emergency professionals with the essential knowledge and practical skills to respond effectively to traumatic injuries in both prehospital and aeromedical environments.

The course focuses on rapid assessment, life-saving interventions, and safe stabilization of trauma patients in high-stress conditions. Emphasis is placed on the management of critical emergencies such as fractures, cardiovascular collapse, anaphylaxis, and neurological crises, as well as on maintaining physiological balance under extreme conditions.

Course Modules

  • Introduction to Trauma – Fundamental principles of trauma care, types of injuries, and stages of trauma response.
  • Allergies & Allergy Emergencies – Recognition and immediate management of allergic reactions.
  • Anaphylaxis – Advanced intervention protocols and airway management.
  • Diabetes – Managing diabetic crises (hypo/hyperglycemia) in field or flight conditions.
  • Thermoregulation – Prevention and management of heat and cold injuries.
  • Injuries & Fractures – Stabilization techniques, immobilization, and transport considerations.
  • Cardiovascular Diseases – Recognition and treatment of cardiac-related emergencies.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – Core resuscitation skills according to international standards.
  • Fainting / Syncope – Immediate evaluation and safe recovery techniques.
  • Neurological Emergencies – Identification and management of acute neurological disorders.
  • Choking (Airway Obstruction) – Rapid response to airway obstruction and use of the Heimlich maneuver.
