Petros Savourdos is a specialist in Occupational and Environmental Medicine with extensive experience in aerospace medicine and military healthcare. He serves in the Hellenic Air Force as a flight surgeon and occupational physician, with operational flying experience in fighter jets, training aircraft, and search-and-rescue helicopters.

He is an authorized Aeromedical Examiner, responsible for assessing and certifying pilot fitness in accordance with EASA regulations. In parallel, he is actively involved in academic teaching, delivering courses in Aerospace Medicine, Flight Physiology, Anatomy, and Physiology at both military and civilian institutions.

Dr. Savourdos also works as an occupational physician across major organizations and contributes as a medical affairs consultant. His academic work includes publications in aerospace and occupational health, with a research focus on in-flight medical events and worker health risks.
